Edo-Kiriko is a glass craft which has been handed down in Edo (current Tokyo) since the end of the Edo period. The first products of Edo-Kiriko were made by Kyubei Kagaya. He run a wholesale shop of Vidro in Edo.
This set of 5 beautiful Edo-Kiriko glasses are from Hirota Glass Studio, established 1899 in Tokyo, Japan. They have been making hand made glass over 100 years.
Those are excellently designed with their stripes, checks, dots and mash. Great for Wine, Champagne, Juice, and we strongly recommend for SAKE !
