Traditional Art and Craft from KAGA October 26th -30th




Opening Reception & Sake Tasting
on October 26th, 6pm-8pm

Our upcoming show will feature the tradditional crafts of KAGA region that have continued from the Edo period.
This is the third show of its kind and this time two pillars of the traditional crafts of Kaga, Kutani ceramics and Yamanaka lacquerware will be introduced.
The exhibition will feature the delicate line drawing, dyeing, and other works of fine brush print of decorative Kutani porcelain. Makie will be featured on new materials such as acrylic.

We look forward to sharing with you at our upcoming show here Sara Japanese Pottery.

Opening reception will feature a painting and laqcuer demonstration by artist Mr. Hiroyuki Haruya, and a fine drawing demonstration by Kutani artist Ms. Ruri Takeuchi.
